Last Day

Well, it's Saturday night over here and I am in the middle of packing to go back to stinky America. We have to get up really early tomorrow morning and I really don't want to obviously. Our flight's at nine in the morning and we'll probably be home at like 5 in the evening Sunday. I'm going to feel like crap on Monday, I just know it. Mom and Chris get to stay home Monday, but NO not me. Anyway.....Linda is sitting here talking her little short head to bits, telling me to say nice things about her. Haha! I feel so powerful near her since I can see over my own aunt's head. Ugh....um, Thursday was cool. We went to London again and me and mom had to look for Ewan Mcgregor's house only to find it was in a different city. Then we went to the eye and got in it. I thought it would be cool, but I ended up feeling sick and had to close my eyes to keep from getting dizzy. I don't get it, I'm not afraid of heights. Then Linda met up with us and we WALKED. For miles and miles we walked......me and Mom were nearly about to faint. We then went to the Shakespearean Globe Theatre. It was cool. Then we walked some more, found yet another pub......ate there, I got chatted up by a toothless drunk, and then we made our way to the theatre to see the Lion King. It was beautiful. I almost cried. Not because it was beautiful, but we had to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to our seats. But fortunately, we caught a cab to the train station so we weren't walking that much more. Friday me and Mom and Chris went on a drive again around the country side and saw a castle. I had to stay in the car though since I felt sick to my stomach. Then we found a little tea kitchen and had some tea and scones. We fed the ducks, saw a man carved out of chalk on a hill, then went to the beach where the wind blew 60 miles an hour and there were giant rocks on the shore instead of sand. Mom and I made the mistake of going down the hill of rocks to where the waves were and Mom fell on her ass. We have pictures.......it was hilarious. Afterward we took some photos on a cliff, got some gas, then went home. Chris wanted some beer so we got that and I got some red bull. Word of advice: Never Drink 3 Red Bulls at one time. I got serious digestive problems now. Well, today we met Chris' aunt, uncle, cousin, and cousin's kid who was my age. They were nice and crazy......just how I like my family. We then stopped at tesco and got some sweets, had a roast beast dinner, and started packing. I said goodbye to grandma and she started crying. I feel bad now.....but, I still have to finish packing and get a shower, so.....see you back in the U.S...........adios

Day 6 In England

So it's Wednesday today in bright and sunny England. (haha!) Monday we went to stone henge and got a good look at the magical pile of rocks. Afterward we went to a pub for lunch and saw a GORGEUSS guy there. He was about my age.....ugh, was he pretty. Too bad we didn't get a picture of him. We practically made googly eyes at each other the whole time, but maybe it was just me. Then we went to a cave called Wookey Hole where there was a witch legend and cheese. Tuesday we just went to the mall here in Crawley and I got a Good Charlotte poster. Today, Linda, Chris, Momma, and I went to Brighton Beach. There were amusement rides and sort of like an arcade and things. Then we went to a pub on top of some hills called Devil's Dyke. That's pretty much it. We're going back to London tomorrow to see our show and the globe theatre. Well, Linda's got to get on now. Tata! Cheerios.

We're Here

So it's our 3rd day in England today. It's nice, it's just cold. The plane ride was alright. The first plane to Houston was like a second but the plane to Gatwick was an eternity. There was lots of films and shows we could watch, and they gave us nice snacks and things. I was just restless because I couldn't exactly go to sleep while I feel this sick. My ears felt awful after I got off the plane but we came to Grandma and Grandpa's house, I went to sleep, then Andrew (Chris' brother) came over so we saw him. We were sort of lazy then that night Chris and Grandpa took me to a pub down the road to meet their friends. It was nice. We got a kebab then came home. Saturday we went to London. It was freaking cold, but I enjoyed seeing everything. Today's Easter and we were saposed to have family coming but the weather's constantly changing, so it didn't happen. Now mom and Chris have gone out for a drive. I'm just staying here. I don't feel like being cold today. Thursday we're going to see the Lion King live, so we'll see how that turns out. Well, till next time.....

Twas The Night Before England...

So it's Wednesday......that's right, our flight to England leaves tomorrow. And.....I'm so so so so so excited, but......ugh, I just got an upper respiratory infection and I skipped a birth control pill, so good ole pms paid a visit. I feel gross, but I guess I'll have to suck it up for the best trip of my life. Other than being stuffy, I am all packed, the house is clean, and now all that's left is a load of laundry, TaSha's ride to the airport and flying for 10 hours. I really hope I feel better, because I think I might die if I walk around London sneezing the entire time. Chris said today he talked to his sister, (my aunt) and she said it was snowing. That's cool. I have never seen snow before so I might get lucky. Well, I'm tired and I got towels to fold. See ya in the UK, peace, mate!

Just One Week Away

Wow, only a week left until we leave for England. God, time goes fast. It seemed like just yesterday we had 50 days to go. I'm so excited, stressed, and at the same time relieved. I'm going to be so busy everyday until the day we leave though. Tomorrow I'm cleaning, got a muffin dinner (hopefully) with Laura (love her!) Saturday, Sunday I guess I'm cleaning, Monday got a band festival, Tuesday after school credit recovery, Wednesday got drama filming and then I have to pack, and Thursday TaSha (who is awesome) is taking us to the airport. Tomorrow's going to be good though because I don't have to wear a uniform to school, there's a pep rally where I'm going to be in a hoola hoop contest, and there's some kind of party in math so I get to eat in class. Hm, and I only have 3 days of school next week. This week I had iLeap testing and it wore me out. Well.....I guess I have to keep cleaning now.....cheerio and all that.
Peace

Stupid Greedy Rockstars....

Okay,so I like NEVER go to concerts. Seriously, I've been to ONE concert in my entire life......so, I get excited when big bands come to town in hope that I might be able to go. Right, so there's this big concert that this radio station puts on called "x-fest" and it usually has okay bands, but this year MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE is on the list. (not to mention STORY OF THE YEAR, but whatever) I REALLY want to go obviously so I ask my mom to check on the price of the tickets. Right now I have a good amount of money for England because I worked for it, so I said if they're 35 dollars each or lower, I'll pay for them. We go to ticketmaster......they're fricken 50 bucks each. Ugh......I know, they're are like 5 bands playing and they have to pay all of them, and I know they're big bands in a small town, but.....Jesus, 50 bucks each???? That should be a crime. Robbing the poor kids of their money like that.....what about people who are IN LOVE with one of those bands and are heart broken because they can't afford one ticket? What about the kids in college who have absolutely NO money, and they can't just go see MY Chem? Stupid rockstars and their high demanding prices......right, so that ticked me off and all I wanted was to take my dad to see my chemical romance, they NEVER come to Louisiana. Whatever.....I'll try to see Warped Tour during this summer. Screw the Music Industry. Peace.

Yo, fresh meat

Hello,

My name's Bethany, but they call me Danny Bonamuffin. It's my "alter-ego" if you will. I'm 14 years old and live in Louisiana with my mom dad, and dogs. I have a half-brother and half-sister but they don't live with me and I rarely see them. I'm from Gulfport, Mississippi and......I guess I'm proud of my hometown. I'm a punk/emo/goth/rocker whatever you want to label me. I REALLY like Good Charlotte, even if they date people that aren't exactly perfect...... Right now I'm a freshman in High School and I'm in the Marching Band. I play trombone.....come to the games, you should see me sweat....... Anyway, I pretty much created this blog to tell about my trip to England in 12 days. My dad's originally from England, so that's why we're going, but my mom's been married to him for 7 years and we've never gotten to go. Spring Break's when we'll be there and I can't wait......I've never even been on a plane before! So.......tata
